Kendra Rae is a sustainable fashion designer with a passion for 3d printing. Hailing from New York then moving to California on an expedition to explore new things. With the never-ending desire to create and discovering garment construction, she landed herself at City College of San Francisco. After completing a 5-piece sustainable capsule collection to win a competition, she was awarded a scholarship to attend the Academy of Art University. At the academy is where her passion for 3d printing was discovered. Devoting the last few years of her education examining the possibilities that this technology could bring to the fashion sector. The development came to fruition with a fully 3d printed biodegradable dress that was showcased at the spring 2025 runway show.
