I fell in love with film as a little girl, spending every Sunday at the movies with my dad or picking out DVDs at Blockbuster. But growing up in Mexico, becoming a filmmaker felt
impossible, it wasn’t a path people talked about, let alone pursued.

So, I tried other things: Culinary School, a degree in Digital Graphic Design. Yet no matter what, I always found myself back in front of the screen, movies playing on repeat, my heart quietly reminding me where I truly belonged. It took a pandemic, a little soul-searching, and the courage to drown out everyone else’s opinions to finally claim the dream I’d carried my whole life. Today,

I’m a proud Mexican director with an MFA in Directing, and a fierce passion for telling the stories that matter, stories rooted in culture, humor, heart, and resilience. Because sometimes, the life you’re meant to live has been playing on the screen right in front of you all along.
