Film making for me stems far back into my child hood and into the environment I was raised in. My mother was a film maker in post production special effects at ILM this was something I over
looked for many years as I went to college to pursue medicine. Until I took my first film class where I fell in love with filmmaking. I pivoted form Pre med to film pretty quickly becoming the
president of an on camps film club. I started learning and teaching other students how to make films, resulting in my winning an award for Best Editor in a 48 hour film competition. I come
from a family of artists, painters, writers. It felt like the pieces fell into place when I found film.
