Originally from the Czech Republic, I am a visual artist based in the San Francisco Bay Area. I create work inspired by movement, rhythm and the unseen forces that shape our world. I work primarily with acrylic inks, paints, spray paint, collage and other mixed media. I use vibrant layers that reflect both inner experience and the external environment.
Much of my inspiration comes from sound – its vibration, texture, and invisible motion through space. My studio sits next to my husband’s music studio, where strange and wonderful sounds are coming out. These sounds echoes find their way into my process and the energy influences each piece. I’m also deeply inspired by the ocean. I like to think of it as a place that holds the sound of the whole world – the crash of waves, the sounds of sea life, the blowing wind and the soft, endless white noise that connects us all.
Through my work, I aim to capture the beauty, chaos and harmony of sound in motion as well as the complexity of the world around us. I am inviting viewers to pause, reflect and see familiar things in new ways.
