Emmanuel Tay

Motion Pictures & Television – Producing / Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA)

School of Motion Pictures & Television

My name is Emmanuel Tay. I’m a creative producer, director, and actor. I’ve been drawn to the arts since grade school, and I got into acting seriously in high school. My first lead role was in a feature film called Cul de Sac by Aden Suchak. Not long after, I stepped away from the creative world to serve five years in the Marine Corps. I went on four deployments, attended several combat schools, and eventually returned home with a new mission.

Alongside a few of my brothers from the military, I co-founded a creative agency. We took the discipline, grit, and leadership we developed in the Marines and brought it into filmmaking.
My goal is to inspire others to engage with life in a way that’s real and true to who they are — and to create spaces where artists can explore their talents, grow, and be seen.

Fun fact: I’m also a certified Marine Corps Martial Arts Instructor.
