School of Music Production & Sound Design for Visual Media

James Corsentino is an audio engineer, multi-instrumentalist, and founder of Sixty Forty Studio, a professional recording space he built in the converted lower floor of his home in Vallejo, California. Since launching the studio in early 2021, he has worked with artists across various genres, offering recording, mixing, mastering, sound design, and occasional video production.

James’ background as a lifelong musician—drummer, guitarist, bassist, vocalist, and songwriter—deeply influences his engineering approach. He’s passionate about helping artists shape and refine their sound and is known for his ability to blend technical precision with a creative, artist-first mindset.
Whether behind the Studio desk or the drum kit, James thrives on collaboration and is driven by a genuine love for the craft. His work is fueled by curiosity, attention to detail, and a desire to create something meaningful—no matter the genre or scale of the project.
