The Circle of Life: A Sensory Library Garden

The “Circle of Life” garden reimagines the library’s landscape as a multi-sensory journey through plant life, using a semi-circular layout to guide visitors through themed sections that highlight the beauty, function, and importance of diverse plant ecosystems. This garden offers an immersive experience where visitors can engage directly with nature through touch, scent, sound, sight, and even taste, moving beyond simple observation into active participation. The circular layout symbolizes the continuous, interconnected cycles within plant ecosystems and natural processes, creating an inviting space that celebrates biodiversity, sustainability, and environmental stewardship.
