As a first time art student, my desire is to “learn the basics” so I can more effectively communicate through my artwork. The delicate balance between identity and ability teeters in showing these early assignments, but what is art without vulnerability? “Elusive Ellipse and Chopsticks” is a display of my imperfection as an artist (those ellipses!!!). With my creative energy so focused on learning art techniques, meal prep has often been reduced to take-out, a life-saver for this frazzled mom when deadlines loom!
