Fine Art – Painting / Master of Fine Arts (MFA)

After attending the College of Marin in Kentfield, CA for four years in fine arts I painted primarily abstract encaustics, taught adults with developmental disabilities for eight years, and adults in my studio.
At AAU, I passed the midpoint review of my MFA fall 2023 and since then have completed a third of my thesis paintings and classes recommended by the committee. Compositions are accomplished by means of pose and gesture and backgrounds are abstracted to allude to the setting and mood.
