I discovered my passion for interior design through hands-on work and the joy of creating something meaningful from the ground up. For my submitted piece, I designed and built a custom ash wood chair that reflects my appreciation for craftsmanship, function, and aesthetic balance. The process deepened my understanding of how form, material, and ergonomics come together to create comfort and visual impact. I’m drawn to design that tells a story and I believe that well-crafted interiors, like well-crafted furniture, should support and inspire the people who use them. Interior design, to me, is about more than decorating a space, it’s about shaping experiences through thoughtful design.
