My name is Ariel Badeo, and I’m a freelance cinematographer based in Schertz, Texas. After proudly serving 15 years in the United States Air Force, I transitioned into the world of filmmaking—a passion that has driven me for as long as I can remember. For the past three years, I’ve been working as a freelance cinematographer, focusing on narrative storytelling and commercial projects that blend visual impact with emotional depth. My background has shaped my work ethic, attention to detail, and my ability to stay calm under pressure—qualities I bring to every set. I’m drawn to stories that challenge perspectives and
invite audiences to feel something real. Whether I’m crafting moody, intimate frames or shooting bold, kinetic visuals, I aim to support the story with intentional, cinematic choices. I’m currently building a body of work that reflects my voice and values as a visual storyteller. Being part of this festival is an exciting opportunity to connect, collaborate, and celebrate the power of film with other passionate creatives.
