I’m a 2nd year Acting MFA student born and raised in Oakland, California. I grew up as a theatre kid, but film was my first love. I’ve always loved telling stories since I was able to imagine myself being in them. When it came to acting, I was immediately compelled by just how relatable the people in stories were and how they reflected issues that I could relate to, but even more than that, it showed me things I had in common with other people. Acting has not only helped me deepen my understanding of myself but also made me eager to connect and learn about other people. I believe that being able to connect and feel for others beyond a surface level can change the world that we live in drastically. I continue to refine my craft in acting with the belief that acting is a reflection of life that relies on truthful storytelling to move an audience.
