Deaf director, actor and a storyteller, Nigerian-born, UK-raised. I move between worlds, always observing and always adapting. I didn’t pick a camera to just tell stories but to start a war. I have an uncompromising visual artillery, silence isn’t my limitation but is my lethal advantage, louder than any scripted dialogue. I direct with the precision of a sniper and act with the fury of man who’s barely been in action. I’m here for one reason and that is to flood the industry with Deaf and Hard of Hearing (HoH) directors, actors and creators on screen, if we’re ain’t in the room then we’re just getting robbed. I’m a cultural alchemist, turning diaspora dissonance into cinematic gold. Beneath the work runs a deep quiet curiosity, the kind that studies life like a chessboard. Eclectic sensibilities, visionary patience and the stamina to outthink every “no” I’ve ever been handed, cause I’m not just adapting to your worlds, you’re also gonna adapt to mine.
