Treehouse Library with a Skatepark

The project questions the boundaries that define a playground and reimagines it as a communal space for the youth. Three tree houses are lifted by a forest of wooden structures. The side walk extends the ground surface into a play surface. A promenade starts from the ground and traverses through the tree houses connect many the play areas and other programs. The intersections between the promenade and the tree houses result in “nests” with optimized daylighting and semi-outdoor spaces.
